SATURDAY 11/30 AND SUNDAY 12/1 VOLUNTEER WORK DAYS
With the weather getting colder and some snow on the ground, we are going to continue the track work on Fleichmanns hill as long as possible, but we will now be meeting at Arkville engine house in the mornings (a warm place to gather). As we will have to give up on the track work for a few months, we are going to continue to focus on restoration of the brill car and finishing the restoration shed that will give us an indoor work space for the car and other projects.
See previous post for more detail or see the schedule page.

Volunteer Work Days Sat 11/30 and Sun 12/1
We are going to meet at ARKVILLE at 10am saturday 11/30 and sunday 12/1.
With the weather in question, each day, we’ll begin at Arkville enginehouse, where we will discuss current and near term projects, and possibly begin working on the restoration shed that is half built (attached to downhill side of engine house). Completion of this addition will give the volunteer force a 27 x 110′ indoor working space for restorations such as the brill car (first priority) and other equipment.
If the weather is okay, we’ll drop ties from the low railer, pull spikes (plates are frozen in but spikes actually pull easier), and end on track car rides (assuming the track is passable).
